FEATURES IN COMPASS GPS YOUR PATIENTS WILL APPRECIATE

AUDIBILITY EXTENDER

Widex solution for linear frequency transposition is the Audibility Extender. You find this option in the fine-tuning window. Here you can select for which programs you wish the feature to be applied, along with other options to improve the listening situation for users with a steep-sloping high-frequency loss.

ADAPTATION MANAGER

This personal automatic solution helps users become accustomed to new sounds. In up to four predefined steps, the gain will slowly and gradually increase, so the user can adapt to the sound in their own time. Select the duration per level that best fits the user’s needs.

MINIMAL FINE TUNING NEEDED

The Sensogram is the established in-situ fitting tool for Widex hearing aids. It measures the user’s hearing thresholds in either four basic frequency bands, or in an expanded mode in up to 10 frequency bands.

This ensures a more precise individual first fit, minimizing the need for fine-tuning.

MATCH YOUR CLIENT'S EAR ACOUSTICS

To make sure that the user gets the most out of a Widex hearing aid, we encourage you to do a feedback test after selecting the correct earware for the user. The Feedback test ensures the hearing aid provides the required gain and that the feedback cancelling system matches the user’s own ear acoustics.
