Dominique mener at den perfekte lyden skal være så naturlig som mulig. Hun bruker denne filosofien når hun komponerer for teatre over hele verden. Dette er hva Dominique hadde å si om PureSound, essensen til Widex’ lydfilosofi.  

MØT DOMINIQUE

Dominique er en komponist basert i London, som har laget musikk til Shakespeare Globe Theatre, Talawa Theater Company, Theater of Black Women – og mer. Dominique kommer opprinnelig fra Trinidad, og den karibiske kulturarven er en del av musikkuttrykket, noe hun har brukt i over tjue år mens hun har skrevet for teater, BBC-radiodrama, film og TV i London.

Dominique studerte klassisk gitar og Cuatro fra ung alder.  
Dominique komponerte og produserte musikk til alle 38 Shakespeare-skuespillene som ble spilt inn til en CD-samling.

MUSIC AS A WAY OF LIFE

Music has been a cornerstone in Dominiques family for several generations. “It’s a way of life,” she says. “It’s a way of thinking of life.” Composing isn’t just about writing a piece of music for Dominique, it’s about describing what’s going on around her. 

THE PERFECT SOUND

"A perfect sound is a sound where the trajectory of the piece is clear,” says Dominique. Instruments with a leading role are heard. The color and the palette of the rest of the ensemble is distinct, and the overall musical journey becomes clear. 

THE NATURAL CHOICE

The perfect sound should sound as natural as possible and PureSound is impressive in that sense. “I would definitely invest in a pair of Widex,” she says. “The precision that you hear in Widex that allows you to distinguish between each sound without being exhausting or over-boosted seems like the perfect solution.”
