Widex Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Meeting Recap

Our first ever "Widex Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Meeting" was a dynamic customer event designed to bring together our esteemed Hearing Care Professionals from around the U.S. for collaboration, knowledge sharing, and inspiration.  


The event took place at Widex, U.S. headquarters in Hauppauge, NY, providing a professional program to learn about The Widex Difference and how we believe that together we can navigate the years ahead. In addition, the meeting provided a conductive environment where customer opinions and expertise were solicited by our team to help guide our future offerings and business support programs. 


The event kicked-off with a welcome dinner where Widex President, Soren Nielsen, provided a compelling history of Widex and introduction to the Widex Difference.  


The next day included a series of engaging presentations in the morning by Dana Helmink, Sr. Director, Audiological Development who shared insights on the latest trends and innovations in the field and how the Widex Difference can help our customers navigate the industry.  



In the afternoon, attendees continued to gain valuable knowledge and practical tips to enhance their practices and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving market through interactive breakout sessions led by Valerie Karpeck, V.P. National Sales; Dana Helmink, Sr. Director, Audiological Development; Key Account Manager, OTC; and David Mayo, Sr. Director, Customer Care. The breakouts allowed customers to actively participate, ask questions, and engage in meaningful conversations with both peers and industry thought leaders. 


In addition to the educational sessions, the event featured a tour of the Widex, U.S. headquarters, where Michael Ramsay, Director of Operations and David Mayo, Sr. Director, Customer Care, provided a first-hand look at our unique technology and enabled attendees to gain a deeper understanding of how Widex provides a premium experience at every touch point. We ended the event with a champagne toast on our second floor before heading into NYC for dinner and exploration.
