IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM WIDEX
Dear Widex Customers,
It is with great pleasure that I announce that Widex and Sivantos have agreed upon merger terms creating the world's third-largest hearing aid company.
This deal is a 'merger of equals,' but the Tøpholm and Westermann families, the founders and owners of Widex, will be the largest single shareholder in the newly merged business. Board and management will be balanced between both Widex's owners and Sivantos' owners EQT.
The merger aims at accelerating growth, strengthening our market presence, and enabling additional investments into R&D, the supply chain, and sales and marketing.

We are joining forces to create a strong global player with a potential that neither company could achieve on its own. This merger will create opportunities for all stakeholders, employees and customers, and, not least, end users of hearing aids.
For the foreseeable future, Widex customers can expect business as usual interacting with Widex. It is important to understand that until global regulatory authorities approve the merger, Widex and Sivantos remain competitors.
In this regard, we are very excited about the recent launch of Widex EVOKE, the world's most intelligent hearing aid! We are receiving an overwhelmingly positive response to this new hearing aid from both customers and end users alike. While the future is certainly bright for the new Widex company, the era of intelligent hearing is NOW. If you need more information on the new Widex EVOKE hearing aid, please reach out to your Widex representative.
Finally, we will keep you updated as the new company evolves and of any operating mechanisms that may change as a result thereof.
President, Widex USA
